Toko Umbrella Mass Production Process

1. Material Selection
   High-quality materials are carefully selected, including canopy fabric (such as polyester or pongee), frames (steel, aluminum, or fiberglass), ribs, and handles.
2. Fabric Cutting
   The canopy fabric is cut into panels using precise cutting machines or die cutters, ensuring consistent size and shape for efficient assembly.
3. Printing & Coating (Optional)
   Custom logos, patterns, or UV-protective coatings are applied based on customer requirements using silk-screen printing, digital printing, or heat transfer methods.
4. Sewing the Canopy
   Panels are stitched together to form the umbrella canopy. Reinforcements are added at stress points to enhance durability.
5. Frame Assembly
   The umbrella frame (shaft, ribs, and stretchers) is assembled. Quality control is applied to check alignment, flexibility, and strength.
6. Canopy Mounting
   The finished canopy is attached to the frame by hand or semi-automated machines, followed by securing with caps and tips.
7. Handle Installation
   Handles are installed and fastened securely, with options such as plastic, wood, rubberized, or custom designs.
8. Opening/Closing Testing
   Each umbrella is tested to ensure smooth open and close functionality. Defective products are removed through strict quality checks.
9. Final Inspection & Cleaning
   The umbrella is cleaned, threads are trimmed, and appearance is checked for consistency, color, and construction.
10. Packing & Shipping
    Umbrellas are packaged based on client specifications — bulk packing, individual polybags, or gift boxes — then prepared for shipping.

• Fabric must be clean, free of stains, holes, wrinkles, or color defects.
• Logo printing must be clear, centered, and without smudging.
• Frame parts must be rust-free, scratch-free, and properly coated.
• Handle must be smooth, well-finished, and securely attached.

• Open/Close Smoothness: Umbrella must open and close easily without jamming or unusual noise.
• Locking Mechanism: Shaft must lock properly when opened and stay secure.
• Spring or Button Test: All automatic or semi-auto functions must work correctly.

• Ribs and stretchers must be securely fixed and not deformed.

• No leakage through seams or stitching during water spray test (optional).

• Open diameter, shaft length, rib length must match product spec.
• Tolerance: ±1–2 cm acceptable depending on model.

• Correct packing method (e.g. polybag, gift box, or carton).
• Check for correct barcodes, hangtags, and labels.
• No missing accessories (e.g. strap, sleeve, tags).

✅ 7. AQL Standard for Sampling

• General Level II under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 or ISO 2859.
• Common AQL levels:
  • Critical Defect: 0.0
  • Major Defect: 2.5
